1. Create new Testimonial slider widget with desired reviews and place it on Home page
2. Use Monimo – Home page widget and pin to the top hot reviews 
3. Use Sidebar widget to display desired reviews on Home page
4. Use a Happy customer page widget. Adjust the number of reviews and pin to the top desired reviews.

Pin to top – If you feel that a review deserves more attention, we made a perfect option for that. Pin it to the top by clicking on the ‘three upward-pointing arrows’ button. After the review has been pinned to the top the button’s icon will show a pin. To undo this action just click the now pin button and the review will no longer be pinned.

Edit – Monimo allows you to edit imported reviews as well as ones written by your customers. This gives you full control over your reviews. To edit reviews just click on the pencil button. It opens a page where you can edit name, gender, country, comment, rating, number of likes, date and even add or remove photos. On this page you can also publish or unpublish the review.

Reply review – reply to customer review. Your reply will be send to customer email.

Delete – You can delete imported reviews and ones your customers leave. To do so, click on the trash can button next to the review. If you don’t want to erase them completely, next to every review is an on-off button used for changing visibility of the review.

Search – To navigate reviews more easily use search bar to find reviews with keywords (i.e. good, bad, delivery…)

Autopilot – Save your time by turning autopilot on. Click on Import Reviews. Under the link box you can find Autopilot next to the ‘paper plane’ icon. There, choose between on, off and default. To view default settings go to Import settings.

CSV – For easy access CSV file import is available in this page as well. Read more here.

Import – To import reviews from Amazon, Etsy, EBay and AliExpress go to import Reviews. There, paste the product link in the box and click import reviews. Monimo will automatically recognize which site you are importing from. After reviews are imported you can choose whether to publish them or not and you can edit or even delete them. You can put your review import on autopilot.

Preview – You can preview reviews before publishing them by clicking on the ‘eye’ icon.

How to add Reviews to Homepage automatically

To add Reviews to Homepage automatically follow these steps:

1. Go to Display Reviews in Monimo Dashboard

2. Activate Homepage widget

3. Choose desired theme and click ‘integrate now’ button

How to add Reviews to Homepage manually

To add reviews manually to your Homepage follow the next steps:

1. Head over to Themes tab in Shopify admin
2. Select ‘Actions’ menu and click ‘Edit code’
3. Open the part you use for Home page (usually Templates/index.liquid)
4. Copy and paste the following code: <div class=”monimo-home-rev” id=”monimo-ali”></div><div id=”monimo-flat-box”></div><script src=”https://monimo.app/ali/product-home_js.js“></script>
5. Click ‘save’

Drag and Drop

To add Review widget on Homepage with Drag and Drop option follow the next steps:

1. Go to Display Reviews tab in Monimo Dashboard
2. Scroll down to ‘Drag and Drop’ option

3. In ‘Choose theme’ select your desired theme from the dropping menu then click on ‘Customize’ 

4. Go to your default Home page

5. On the left-side menu, click ‘Add section’ and choose ‘Monimo – Home Page’ under APPS

6. Position the widget where you’d like it to appear by dragging it up or down

7. Click ‘save’ button

You can choose what reviews to publish and what not. You can hide inappropriate reviews as well. 

Edit reviews 

To edit reviews before publishing:

1. Go to Reviews tab in your Monimo Dashboard
2. Click on ‘View and Edit Reviews” for desired product
3. Find the review you want to edit
4. Next to the review click on the ‘note and a pen’ icon
5. Change what you wish in the form that is now open  

Here is what you can edit in a review:

• First and Last name
• Email
• Country 
• Comment 
• Rating 
• Photos 

You can publish the review from this form as well with ‘Publish’ button.

To approve reviews through Monimo Dashboard go to pending reviews. Click the ‘Approve’ button for reviews you want published.

How to Reply to Reviews

Interacting with customers is very important and beneficial for your shop. Thanking the customer that left a positive review or addressing the issue of those that left a negative review can improve your connection with customers. That is why Monimo made it so easy to reply to them.

To write a public reply:

1. Go to Reviews tab
2. Click the ‘Reply’ button for the review you want to reply to

Your customer gets notified by email once you’ve replied to their review. This reply is also publicly visible. You can edit a published reply.

If you hide a review it is like deleting it. It is not visible in your shop anymore and the rating is not counted for in your average review rating.

Permanently deleting reviews

1. Head over to ‘Reviews‘ tab in Monimo Dashboard
2. Click ‘View and Edit reviews’
3. Select reviews you want to delete
4. Click ‘Actions’ and then ‘Delete’

If you want to delete ALL reviews at once follow the next steps:

1. Go to ‘Reviews‘ tab in Monimo Dashboard
2. Click ‘Actions’ 
3. Select ‘Delete All Reviews’

3. Click ‘Import Reviews’

• Maximum reviews per import – Use a slider to adjust the maximum number of reviews imported at a time.
• Skip import of reviews with Keyword – Enter the keywords  you don’t want in your reviews and the reviews containing them will be skipped during the import.
• Select country – Choose the country from which review writers should be and these reviews will be the only imported.
• Name generator – Choose between U.S. names or names from the country chosen as location. Adjust what percentage of the names should be male, the rest will be female.
• Auto publish – Activate Auto publish to have reviews automatically published to review widgets. Check star rating you want auto published.

1. Go to the Reviews tab on your Monimo Dashboard, find the desired product and click on the “Export/Import reviews” button.
2. Choose ‘Export reviews to CSV’ and CSV file will be downloaded automatically to your computer.
