Monimo emails can be customized within settings. Customize email content, style, design and color for all of its parts like text, background and email footer. You can even put your own logo.

How to upload a logo for Monimo emails

Monimo allows you to add your brand’s logo to the emails that we send to your customers as review requests.

Add your logo to review request emails by entering the picture URL of your logo in the Collect reviews section of your Monimo Dashboard:

To generate URL for your picture, if you don’t have one, go through with the following steps:

1. Head over to the Shopify Files menu
2. Select “Upload files” and click on your logo picture
3. When the upload is done, URL will be displayed
4. Copy the URL and paste it into your Monimo app settings:

If the logo size is not fitting well, change the size with the use of the online tool.

Editing the Subject Line

Add your own brand voice to emails using Monimo. Customize the Email subject field through the Collect reviews setting in Monimo Dashboard. 

For where you want customers first and last name to appear use [name] or [last_name] as a placeholder:

• Let’s use the following line for an example:

[name], we would love to see a review of your purchase!

Mary Jones will see it as:

” Mary, we would love to see a review of your purchase!”

If you choose the following subject line:

Mrs. [last_name], we would love to see a review of your purchase!

Mary Jones will see it as:

“Mrs. Jones,we would love to see a review of your purchase!”

• For placing an order number use [order_number]:

If we use the following subject line as an example:

Order # [order_number], we would love to see a review of your latest purchase!

The customer sees it as:

“Order # 4626, we would love to see a review of your latest purchase!”

If the Email subject field is left empty, the default subject looks like this:

Order # [order_number], we would love to see a review of your latest purchase!

Customizing email appearance

Match your brand’s voice and look by customizing Monimo Emails design.

Email features that you can change and customize through Email Settings are the following:

• Color of email background
• Color of text background
• Color of text
• Color of button background
• Color of button border
• Color of button title 
• Font 
• Font size

The changes you make apply to all email types

• Review request emails
• Discount code emails
• Review request reminders
• Photo reminder emails

How to view a Sample email?

You can see how your emails look like in live preview on the right side of Monimo Dashboard.

This is a great way to have photos included in a review and boost your social proof.

On Collect Reviews Settings in Monimo Dashboard adjust settings to your preferences:

• Always send reminders to for 5-star reviews only
• Always send reminders for 4 or 5 star reviews
• Ask a customer if they would like to be reminded for photos, when they’re posting a review
• Never send photo reminder

Photo reminder emails can be customized in Translation – Emails.

If you have any troubles going through previously mentioned steps please contact our Support Team.

It is useful because it reminds customers that they often want to write the review but at the time of the arrival of the first review request mail they either didn’t have a chance to try out the product yet or they were busy and just didn’t write the review.

Reminder emails are sent 2 days after the request email was sent, to remind customers that you are still looking forward to their review.
